Stay informed about user feedback with customizable email notifications. Get instant alerts for critical issues or periodic summaries to keep your team in the loop.

Notification Types

Get notified immediately when new feedback matches your alert conditions. Perfect for critical bugs and high-impact issues that need immediate attention.

Email includes:

  • • Feedback title and description
  • • User contact information (if provided)
  • • Impact score and feedback type
  • • Page URL and browser metadata
  • • Direct link to respond in dashboard

📅Daily DigestsPro Feature

Receive a daily summary of feedback activity sent each morning. Includes feedback counts, type breakdown, and links to recent submissions.

Digest includes:

  • • Total feedback count for the day
  • • Breakdown by type (bugs, feedback, questions, features)
  • • Critical feedback count (impact score 4-5)
  • • Recent feedback titles with quick access links

📊Weekly DigestsPro Feature

Get a comprehensive weekly overview of feedback trends, top issues, and team performance. Sent every Monday morning with insights from the previous week.

Digest includes:

  • • Total feedback volume and trends
  • • Top 10 highest-impact feedback items
  • • Feedback type distribution
  • • Week-over-week comparison

Configuration

Configure your email notification preferences from your project settings. You can fine-tune which feedback triggers alerts and when you want to receive them.

Alert Conditions

Feedback Types

Choose which types of feedback trigger alerts:

💬Feedback - General product feedback
Questions - User support requests
💡Features - Feature requests and ideas

Impact Scores

Only alert for feedback with selected impact levels:

🔥 Critical (5) - Urgent issues
🚨 High (4) - Important problems
⚖️ Moderate (3) - Standard feedback
📝 Low (2) - Minor issues
💭 Minimal (1) - Suggestions

Keyword Alerts

Get notified when feedback contains specific keywords:

Quiet Hours

Pause instant alerts during specific hours:

Example: 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM in your timezone

Alerts during quiet hours will be delayed until the next active period.

Setup Instructions

    Go to your project dashboard and click "Settings" → "Notifications"

    Turn on the main email notifications toggle

    Choose instant alerts, daily digests, or weekly digests (Pro feature)

    Select feedback types, impact scores, and keywords that trigger alerts

    Set Timezone & Quiet Hours

    Configure your timezone and optional quiet hours for alerts

    Save Settings

    Click "Save Settings" to activate your notification preferences

💡 Pro Tip: Start with instant alerts for critical feedback (impact score 4-5) and bugs. You can always adjust the sensitivity based on your feedback volume.

Team Notifications

Each team member configures their own notification preferences. Project owners and admins can see notification settings but cannot modify them for other team members.

Team Member Guidelines:

  • • Each member has independent notification settings
  • • Notification preferences are per-project
  • • Members can unsubscribe from specific projects

Troubleshooting

Not receiving email notifications?
  1. 1. Check your spam/junk folder for emails from [email protected]
  2. 2. Verify email notifications are enabled in your settings
  3. 3. Confirm your alert conditions match the feedback you're expecting
  4. 4. Check if quiet hours are preventing alerts
  5. 5. Test with feedback that clearly matches your criteria
Getting too many notifications?
  • • Increase the minimum impact score (e.g., only alert for 4-5)
  • • Disable alerts for certain feedback types (like questions)
  • • Switch from instant alerts to daily digests
  • • Add keyword filtering to focus on critical issues
  • • Set quiet hours during your focus time
Emails are going to spam?
  • • Add [email protected] to your safe sender list
  • • Mark one of our emails as "Not Spam" in your email client
  • • Create a filter to always deliver Feedbackview emails to inbox
  • • Check with your IT team about email filtering policies
